the creator

it started with a question

As a variety content creator of over eight years, I found my roots with Monster Hunter starting with Freedom 2. After joining the 2018 E3 Monster Hunter World Time Attack tournament, I thought:

What if Monster Hunter was an esports tourney?

I wanted to draw inspiration from esports tournaments (like EVO) and apply it to Monster Hunter. Years later, JalBagel and I created MHSR as the pilot to this idea. Two years after MHSR, the CGS was born. With Monster Hunter as the starting point, I plan to experiment with more games that don't typically have tournament representation. Most importantly, I want to create programs and events that not only involve the community in each game, but also show love by repping the people that makes these communities so amazing.

the pilot that started it all.

MHSR Invitational was a tournament broadcasted live on Twitch and was designed to be an eSports-themed Monster Hunter tournament in a double bracket format. Teams would face off at the same time to mimic the action of fighting games like Street Fighter.Co-produced with speed runner JalBagel and many other creators from the Monster Hunter community as both production crew and participants.
